Ervin says: "At this time many men are out fishing for fish and shrimp. Many Rama women are preparing shrimp to be dried in the sun. Many teachers are attending a conference about teaching english at BICU University in Bluefields. Rama students are preparing to celebrate Nicaraguan Independence Day on September 14."
